In the heart of a small hamlet in Périgord, overlooking the village of Mauzac and the Dordogne, the Domaine de la Chartreuse Dautré consists of a beautiful, typically Périgord-style late 17th century residence, a magnificent barn, a dovecote and the traditional tobacco dryer. The 3.5 hectare property is a true haven of peace combining garden, orchard, wood and peerage, with the Dordogne accessible 2 km away.
Guests are transported by the refined universe of the Chartreuse, to the rooms where the charm continues.
The master of the house indulges his passion at the table d'hôtes. He creates tasty cuisine using fresh produce from the vegetable patch and local producers.
